I like to tell stories, mostly with hot guys and happily ever afters. But they've gotta work for it! No free lunches on my watch.
I live in tropical North Queensland, Australia. I don't know why, because I hate the heat, but I suspect I'm too lazy to move. I spend half my time slaving away as a government minion, and the other half plotting my escape.
I attended university at sixteen, not because I was a child prodigy or anything, but because of a mix-up between international school systems early in life. I studied History and English, neither of them very thoroughly.
I share my house with too many cats, a dog, a green tree frog that swims in the toilet, and as many possums as can break in every night. This is not how I imagined life as a grown-up.
Kate Sherwood, Cate Cameron, Catherine Dale… and probably a few new names, eventually. They’re all one person.
One person who’s lucky enough to get to live a bunch of extra lives through all the characters in her books, and who’s trying desperately to keep all the lives organized into some sort of categories… so each name writes a different type of story.
But really, beneath the genre categories? All the stories will have some kind of humour, even in the darkest times. They’ll all show characters who are far from perfect, but who are trying to be better.
Basic bio stuff? Kate/Cate/Catherine lives in Cottage Country, the water-filled world north of Toronto, Canada, the land where summers are sunny and crowded with visitors and winters are snowy and isolated. She loves it there. Not that she doesn’t sometimes miss the city, especially when her internet is acting up or she wants something delivered.
She works full-time at a non-writing job but would love to shift into a more writing-centred life. There’s a five-year plan. It might work….
Sean Azinsalt lives in California with his husband and their fur baby. When not writing, Sean can be found at a film festival or performing cabaret somewhere in a dark dive bar in LA. His novels include It's In My Blood (Criminal Delights Obsession) and Dark Eros (Darkly Mine Season 1). In 2021 he will be releasing the Dark Eros Cult Trilogy.

Writing romance has always been a dream of Rorie’s, but life can be filled with such darkness. After years of suffering in silence from severe depression and anxiety, she turned to writing as a way to copy with dark thoughts and feelings instead of burying them deep inside.
Outside of writing, Rorie is a zany wife and mother who is just as quick to laugh despite her struggles. She’s an all around creative person and is addicted to storm watching. Living in tornado alley provides her with lots of weather to watch.
Let me introduce myself, I’m JP or Jayne. I’m a lady of a certain age (cough, cough over 50 but I embrace my inner child often). I’m an identical twin and I was born in the Isle of Man; this makes me Manx (not British or English). I’ve lived in several places over the years but I returned to the island 1998. I love the sea and now it’s only a stone’s throw from my home.
I quit my nursing career this year to follow my dream to write full time. I published my first book in 2018 and since then I’ve managed to publish a further twenty plus books. (I have a 12 book challenge this year, and I’m two and a half books away from completing it!)
My island is steeped in folklore and I have used some of this in my writing, particularly the Manx Cat Guardian Series, it’s paranormal with a twist. But I’m an eclectic girl and I’ve spread my wings a little. The tropes vary, Daddy Kink, BDSM, age gap, Billionaire romance, Small town friendships, friends to lovers, out for you, sweet romance, they all have a little angst (or a lot). I tend to write in series and The Elves and the Bondage Daddy lends itself to that too, (shakes head).
Writing has unleashed a beast in my mind and now I can’t switch it off. So with that, I now have to try and keep my unruly boys in check while they vie for my attention, and currently it’s who shouts the loudest. But, I’m okay with that now I have the time to let the words follow J
Emma is the #1 Amazon Bestselling Author of series such as Hybrid, Call Girls, Paint, and Incubus.
Born in Hungry Bottom as an unexpected twin, Emma was destined to be a little different. She blames her rebellious muse (who looks like Chris from the Paint Series) for the erotic aspects tickling the angst, and the humor cuddling up with the erotic. No matter the genre, you can expect different characters, dark themes, steamin’ sex, laughs, and a HEA or HFN.
When not continuing her obsessive affairs with book boyfriends, she herds Birman cats and sons in Winnie The Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood. Both groups argue that the other is too large, and her long-suffering husband has given up counting.
Alexis Jane is the dark-half of author Alex Jane.
Exploring the visceral side of MM romance, her stories delve into horror
themes, profoundly problematic relationships, and violence while holding
romance and love at their core—no matter how misguided it might be.
It's love…but darker. Because some happy endings come harder than

Brea Alepoú realized her dream was to write and tell stories after spending five years in college getting a degree. She has since been writing and letting her imagination free. She thought she would only write contemporary but soon found her love for making worlds. So now she writes it all. With her wild imagination, expect lots of different stories, from fairies ruling, to vampires killing everyone, to the sweet loving between two men, passion between two fierce women, or the love of multiple partners. She believes that everyone deserves love even if not all of her characters get it right away. Love is passionate, hot, needy, confusing, painful, fulfilling, and all-consuming.

There will be a book for everyone.
R. Phoenix (code name: Raissa) has an unhealthy fascination with contrasts: light and dark, humor and pain, heroes and villains, order and chaos. She believes love can corrupt, power can redeem and that the best of intentions can cast shadows while the worst can create light. She agrees with those who say that the truth is best told through fiction — even though fiction has to make sense while reality can be utterly baffling.
She loves chatting with readers, though she often awkwardly rambles. No matter how much she tries to keep her bad and often perverted sense of humor in check, it seems to escape at the most inconvenient moments. (Thanks, universe.) Feel free to friend Raissa on Facebook and chat or send her an email!
What can I say about me? I have two boys who keep me on my toes and a cat who adopted us. She walked in one day and hasn’t left. We might be getting a dog too. Who knows?
I love to read about men in love. Flawed, but strong men, who need some TLC and find their happy ending. I love to write about those same type of men too, sometimes with added kink! I also love to read horrors, thrillers and crime novels.
When I’m not trying to keep my boys in line, or write about hot sexy men, I like to work on my allotment. I also like to read, take walks in the countryside, and visit historical places. Recently, we went to Stonehenge and Avebury. It was an amazing experience.
Adara writes almost exclusive m/m, but she has a fondness for bisexual protagonists. She enjoys a lot of darker themes, so you'll see a lot of that in her works.
When Adara isn't writing, she's reading, painting, playing video games, and rescuing cats. She also enjoys learning about languages and other cultures.
Abigail Kade lives on the Gulf Coast of Alabama with her husband of 24 years and their two teenagers, God help her. Her work ranges from super sweet contemporary, to paranormal, to dark a twisted, and she loves every single genre. She believes everyone deserves their happily ever after, but sometimes it’s a difficult and sometimes dark path to get there.
Abigail spends all of her limited spare time dreaming and writing about all the interesting characters living in her head, and telling anyone who will listen that instalove is a very real thing, no matter how flawed the characters may seem to be.
Blood. Gore. Criminals. Romance.
M.D. Gregory loves it all. She believes everyone deserves to find love, even those characters with questionable motives. As an alternative pen name of M/M romance author Meg Bawden, M.D. Gregory writes bloodier romances with more violence, kink, and bad boys. Her characters are not good guys. They live for danger and thrive on pain and retribution. But even those sorts of men fall in love, right?
She writes in various genres, from contemporary to fantasy, so no matter what your dark taste craves, you'll find it here.
